Weekly Update 5/19

Warning - I'm about to go on a rant

Record:20-24 (5th, third worst in the AL)
Past Week: 1-5
Team Avg: .255 (-.009) (20th -8)
Team ERA: 4.48 (+0.18) (23rd -4)
Power Rank: 20 (-2)

The Yankees have hit rock bottom and broke out with the jackhammers. After posting a pathetic 1-5 record dating back to last Monday, the Yankees are is dead last in the AL East, four games under .500, and six games out of first. This is an absolute joke and the Yankees are playing disgusting baseball. It has come to a point where it is embarrassing and I am just wasting my time switching to the game. I don't know what they can do to fix this, but somehting needs to be done NOW. Igawa, Hughes, and Kennedy have been as useful as a fork in a soup bowl. The hitting is horrible and Giambi's thong is not large enough for the whole team.
I've smelled rotton milk that was better than the hitting.

Who's Cold
The entire Yankees roster. A combined 12 runs during the past week and not scoring more than two in a four-game series against the Rays. The Yankees hit a weak .194, and could not drive the runner home as they left 79 runners stranded, an average of just over 13 per game.
The pitching was not all spectacular as well. Chein-Ming Wang, the ace of the staff, suffered only one loss against the Mets on Sunday as his sinker wasn't working giving up 7 runs over 7 2/3 innings. Batters created a dent in Rivera early last week giving up a lone run and taking the loss in a well pitched game by Wang. Pettitte unraveled early in his start giving up five runs on four innings and taking that loss as well.

Who's Hot (with anger)
Yankee Country. You play in New York, your expected to play your best. So far we haven't seen it.

+ Down for the Count +
My remote control from being tossed around after each loss.
