MLB Radio

Today marked the first day I appeared on MLB Radio.
Peter McCarthy hosts a Thursday segment called "Know Your Franchise" and I called in and actually got to be on the show.
After a little chit chat we got down to the questions.

Question 1:
Who will be the starting second baseman in 2008
Robinson Cano

Q2: Besides Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra, who else won back-to-back MVPs?
A: Roger Maris

Q3: What two single-digit numbers were NOT retired?
A: #2, #6

Q4: Of the retired single-digit numbers, name the player who wore them.
#1 - Billy Martin
#3 - Babe Ruth
#4 - Lou Gehrig
#5 - Joe DiMaggio
#7 - Mickey Mantle
#8 - Yogi Berra
#8 - Bill Dickey
#9 - Roger Maris

McCarthy does this segment every Thursday, so stay tuned next week and I may be on again!

I have, and always will be, a true Yankees fan. Don't give me that bandwagon crap; bandwagon fans are for people who need to belong.
