No More Jinx

The rumor circulating about a Red Sox jersey buried in the cement of New Yankee Stadium have been long confirmed.
Yes, a Red Sox fan working as a construction worker to help with the building of the new stadium was a target of speculation on burring a Red Sox jersey in the new stadium.
This immediately made the news here in New York about a possible jinx with a piece of the rivals uniform permanently cemented.

Today, the construction crew dug up the David Ortiz jersey and removed it from the premises. Yankees will donate the jersey to charity and possibly pursue a lawsuit against the man who buried it. This must be a start to help with the trash clean up in the new place.

Now if only they can find Jimmy Hoffa in Giants Stadium.....

Get out of here! Lawsuit for what? If this guy was smart he would shut up and make someone prove he did it. Who needs a jinx anyway. The yanks seem to find a way to lose in the ALDS on their own with out one.
