100 Sporting Events You Must See Live (Review)
I was given this book about a month ago and have been meaning to do a review on it. Now since I have some free time...here goes.
The thing that I like about this book is that it covers everything you need to know about each event. Not only can you read up on the history of one of the events and the significance, but it also offers you information on how to obtain tickets to the event and a lot of other useful information.
The book offers information on how to arrive at the event, dining, and hotel accomdatations so you are not left stranded in the dark. It's one thing to watch the game, another if you get every possible drop of it for a memory that will last forever.
I myself have been to one of these events (Yankees vs Red Sox) and before the book I knew a few eateries and the basic info on Yankee Stadium. After reading the segment I will leave my place even earlier to take in everything that I never knew about. Sad part is, I live in New York and didn't know half the stuff that is mentioned in the book.
For less than $20, you will have everything you need to know for your next sporting trip to the Preakness, Daytona 500, British Open, FA Cup, or even a UFC title fight. Of course that is just a small sample size of what you can find in the book.
